The upcoming season opens in January with “Water for Elephants” (Jan. 16–18, 2026), a sweeping tale of love and survival set against the backdrop of a traveling circus during the Great Depression. This emotionally gripping production will be a stunning way to kick off the season.
Next up, prepare to laugh and cry with the beloved family favorite “Mrs. Doubtfire” (Feb. 20–22, 2026). Based on the iconic film, this heartwarming musical follows a father’s hilarious and touching quest to reconnect with his children in disguise as their woman babysitter.
March brings an electrifying experience with the wildly popular “Blue Man Group” (March 20–22, 2026). Known for their innovative blend of music, comedy and multimedia theatrics, this show promises a sensory adventure unlike any other. After an incredible 34-year run, Blue Man Group’s New York production — which opened in 1991— closed in February 2025 with its final performance at the Astor Place Theatre. The show’s historic Broadway run concluded after more than 17,000 performances, making it one of the longest-running and most beloved theatrical experiences in recent history.
In April, audiences will be swept away to a mythical underworld with the Tony Award-winning musical “Hadestown” (April 17–19, 2026). This modern retelling of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth is a powerful mix of folk, jazz and blues that has captivated Broadway audiences and critics alike.
May ushers in a night of mystery and laughs with the Lubbock premiere of “Clue” (May 8–10, 2026). Based on the classic board game and cult-favorite film, this comedic whodunit invites the audience to solve a murder mystery alongside the eccentric suspects.
Closing the season in June is the timeless classic “The Music Man” (June 19–21, 2026), the beloved Meredith Willson masterpiece that tells the story of a charming con man who transforms a small town with music and heart.
